Mr. Jordan, a.k.a. the chief angel, is checking passengers who are to depart for the Hereafter. His routine is interrupted by the arrival of Joe Pendleton, an attractive prizefighter, who refuses to admit he is dead and convinces Jordan to “check the records,” revealing that Joe is not scheduled to arrive for another 60 years. The laughs begin when Jordan is forced to find Joe a new body and return him to earth. Join us for this classic American comedy full of laughs and sincerity as it asks questions of love, destiny, and free will.
